How to Read Flash Codes (DTC) of Fenix 5MR

Find the DLC Connector underneath the glove compartment


The pins are connected as follows:-

Mxxxxx
ABCxxx

1) Turn Off the ignition
2) Using a paperclip carefully connect pin A to C
3) Turn on the ignition - dont start
4) Yor Check Engine light in dash will flash if there is some DTC stored in ECU

e.g 0201 Code (Injector #1 Fault) will be flashed as

Ten Flashes , pause, Two Flashes, Pause, Ten Flashes, Pause, One Flash, Long Pause

Imp:- zero=Ten Flashes
5) Turn Off the Ignition , remove the paper clip
6) You can Look up the codes using the software


WARNING: Dont try any other pin conections, Improper connections may damage your ECU, This procedure is valid for 'Chevrolet Exclusive' only but not 'Chevrolet Joy' (R) This is valid for 'Chevrolet Exclusive' only but not 'Chevrolet Joy'. if you find that your car dows not have similiar connector or pin configurations, DONT ATTEMPT

Hi ,i need your help i have Chevrolet JOY and like other car owners i also want to know what’s going on my car, i saw your site and now i know i can check my car with my laptop but as you mention pin configuration not for JOY ECU control . please advice and one think more i am unable to download your software too may be link is not working any more .

Waqar>The Joy is OBD2, you cant read joy codes manually, it has to be thru laptop

Galaxy>The Connector is under Glove Compartment Passenger Side

hi , thanks for your info , can you please tell me how do i connect my laptop to JOY ECU . i mean connection cofig of connector .
if you live in Pakistan can i call you ? Secondly i am facing problem with AC , as it's not working properly and yesterday i go to workshop and what they did the service my CAR AC and disconnect original"bellow"connection and connect manual temperature control device and after that my ac working fine but my car shutdown in slow speed any advice , how can i resolve this problem hence original "below" is not available.
